You can configure Microsoft 365 MFA account for notification settings if you want Veeam Backup & Replication to send email notifications about backup job results.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is supported by Veeam Backup & Replication for additional user verification. A one-time password (OTP) generated in the mobile authenticator application is a secondary verification method. With login and password credentials, it creates a more secure environment and keeps user accounts safe.
You can also configure notification settings in Microsoft 365 with an MFA-enabled account. This can be used to send email notifications about the results of backup jobs.
Duo Authentication for Remote Desktop Gateway adds two-factor authentication to your RemoteApp Access logons, and blocks any connections to your Remote Desktop Gateway server(s) from users who have not completed two-factor authentication when all connection requests are proxied through a Remote Desktop Gateway. Users automatically receive a 2FA prompt in the form of a push request in Duo Mobile or a phone call when logging in.
